Marriage- Did I really just do this?

So I'm Mexican American. My dad was born and raised in Mexico and made his way over to the U.S. as a young adult. My mom was born and raised in Southern California and both her parents were born and raised in Mexico. I am quite Mexican. And how does being Mexican play a part of me being a wife? My hubbie is Mexican American just like me. His family ties to Mexico almost mirror mine. How does being Mexican play a part in his hubbie duties?  In Married At First Sight , there are couples who have different religious beliefs and cultures.
