Divorce

Is it really that bad? Bad enough for all if not most of the participants on Married at First Sight to swear that "Divorce is not an option" for them. Even though they have not met their future spouse, they can honestly say they trust the specialists to have found the perfect match for them?
That is something I would be so afraid of. They definitely have more courage and trust than I do. I do not think I could honestly say divorce was out of the question if I were in their shoes. Not only because marriage is tough and sometimes it just doesn't work, but because they have no control over who they are marrying. They are being completely set up... and what if they're set up to fail? Then what...

As it is you always hear that divorce rates are at 50%, although that 50% statistic is very misleading, if not completely wrong. The divorce rates are closer to 25% for all first-time marriages to end in a divorce. And those divorces do not involve the parties meeting each other for the first time when they're getting married in this so called social experiment.

I hope that my own marriage doesn't end up in a divorce, but I am also in no way shape or form going to stay in it if I'm unhappy or if that boy cheats...well if he were to become a cheater I wouldn't be a divorcee I would be a widow. (This can't be used as a threat!!)

So to say that divorce is out of the question is cray cray! But then again they're cray cray for even being on the show... that's not going to stop me from watching it though!

Where will we live?

Finding a home has it's up and downs and dodging of bullets (if you don't research the neighborhood well enough) and a case of headaches all on its own, but throw in a marriage into the mix and it adds just that much more. The one question that make take more than a few minutes to ponder over is... Where will we live? What if your spouse is originally from the other side of town or another state? What if your job has caused you to move away from your parents, but now you feel like it's the perfect time to move closer to them? In the second episode of Married At First Sight (the 2nd season) , Jaclyn and Ryan R. already had a bumpy start with Jaclyn not being attracted to Ryan R. at all and she sure did not have an ounce of fear to share that with the cameras. But on top of all that she's in love with her job as a sales representative for a popular vodka brand in  New Jersey. Her now husband is from L...

Fight for What You Deserve

Who said Chick Flicks couldn't be wild? African Cats is a movie that reaches out to help preserve the life of animals in need while still being a Chick Flick. African Cats follows the life of lions, lionesses and cheetahs as they fight to stay alive. It is hard not to fall in love with the young cubs like Mara. Mara is the only daughter to Layla, the oldest and most experienced lioness. Layla is an independent lioness who fights until the end to protect not only her daughter but the complete pack. As the protagonist in the film, Layla leads by example by displaying her never ending courage and strength. She is a single mother who is able to take on the role as a leader and overcomes many struggles. The independence, challenges and loss captured in this film make it a qualified Chick Flick. Not only does African cats motivate young females and gives hope to single mothers who are facing their own challenges, but it raises money to preserve the wildlife and wild lands of Africa....

Just Go With It

Imagine this. You are at a bar and you overhear a man explaining to the good looking woman sitting next to him that he has not seen his wife in months. She has deserted her duties as a wife and mother to their 15 adopted children. The attracted woman we shall call, Naive, is eating his miserable story up and says he should go home with her so she can show him what he deserves with a seductive look. Off they go to begin their rendezvous. Believable? Only in the movies, so Just go With It.             Jennifer Aniston, Katherine, and Adam Sandler, Danny, play the ideal duo for this movie. She is the assistant of Danny and happens to be a single mother of two children. He is a wealthy plastic surgeon who had his heart broken on his wedding day. Since then he has taken on the life of faking near divorce, neglectful and horrendous marriages in order to persuade these stunning and young women to sleep with him. His perfect plan has conti...
